Cardinal Captive Solutions launched in 2019, and its team has more than 120 years of combined insurance experience dedicated to commercial contractors.  

Because we specialize in construction, we have the expertise and flexibility in products to address the full scope of contractors’ exposures, including such specialized exposures as subcontractor default, OCIP/CCIP, and property.

THE CARDINAL NAME

“Cardinal”—in addition to being a crested finch native to parts of the U.S. and Canada—means “of the greatest importance, fundamental, essential.” It connotes something on which an outcome turns or depends, such as finding the right insurance solution for your business. Further, the bird on which our name and our ethos are based doesn’t migrate, which is a fitting representation of a company devoted to long-term partnership with our clients.
